About Us
An Idea Becomes Reality.
In September 2006.
John Kohler bought the old Emery Hardware building from the city of Bradford to
fill the need for a new tenant wanting to open a furniture store in the downtown
Bradford area. While looking though the building he found that there was a
warehouse attached to the building and got an idea. He said wouldn't this space
make a great bar or restaurant and that's where the idea came for a coffee shop.
He paced the Idea on to Mark and Heather Peace, asking them if they would like
to open and own a coffee shop. Of course they said yes. Over the next six months
John with contractors from Troutman & Troutman, BTU supply and Pure Tech
Inc.
He designed what would become the inside of the Emery Espresso Bar.
